Founded in 1988 by David and Pat, along with their son David and daughter Debbie, the park began as a modest collection on a 5-acre property. Fuelled by their passion for Australian wildlife, the family steadily expanded the park, doubling in size within a few years and then again in 2003 with their move to the current spacious location in Whiteman Park.
